For clients in the West Midlands area (or a 30 miles radius of Solihull), we offer an on-site sampling service where one of our experienced and qualified asbestos surveyors will attend your premises and take samples for laboratory testing.

If you are nervous about or are unsure how to safely take a sample of material that you suspect might contain asbestos, this service is for you.

The cost of a site visit is £120 plus VAT and includes the first sample.

Additional samples are charged at £30 each + VAT.

Payment can be made at the time of our visit in cash, cheque or we can arrange payment on-line or by credit card if preferred.

When arranging this service, please be prepared to tell us what type of material you require testing and where it is situated.

Our surveyors carry small ladders with them, but will not be able to access anything that extends beyond 3 metres high unless you have suitable access arrangements on-site.

Why Test For Asbestos?

Until asbestos was banned in the 1990′s, some construction materials still contained asbestos. Even though it has not been possible to buy asbestos since this time, many of the original materials remain in place in domestic and commercial buildings today.

Typical examples are asbestos cement roofs, insulation materials, partition boards, floor tiles, ceiling tiles and many others.

Although most such materials are probably quite safe, the major utility firms (gas, electricity, water & telephone companies) won’t work on any material that they believe might be asbestos.

Whilst we are happy to extend this service to domestic customers, it is most suited to commercial clients in the following (or surrounding) areas:
