By using this web site and requesting the sampling service, users are deemed to have accepted these terms of business.
Definitions:
“The Company” shall mean Commercial Property Surveys Ltd” of Unit 3 Radway Road Industrial Estate, Radway Road, Solihull, B90 4NR
“The Client” shall mean any person requesting services from The Company
The Company acts as an intermediary to provide an asbestos testing service for Clients in the UK, using one of a number of UKAS approved asbestos testing laboratories.
Terms
The Company cannot warrant the accuracy of any test, since the nature of asbestos containing materials means that quantities and indeed the presence of asbestos can vary from sample to sample. Consequently, any laboratory report can only relate to the actual sample submitted by The Client and not to an entire area or an entire product.
UKAS approved laboratories are obliged to keep tested samples for a minimum period of 3 months. Clients may therefore reasonably request the re-test of the submitted sample within this timescale free of charge should they be dissatisfied with any result.
A testing certificate will identify whether asbestos is present in the sample and will identify the type of asbestos. It will NOT provide percentages of asbestos in the material and nor will it identify other non-asbestos materials.
Any claim or query relating to the accuracy of test results should be directed to the laboratory performing the testing. The laborartory will be clearly identified on the result certificate
In the event of any claim The Company’s liability in all cases shall not exceed the initial cost of the testing service..
